sjDANCEco Announces "Re-Envisioned" 2020-2021
Free video highlights of past performances and
previews of new works

SILICON VALLEY, CA-- Artistic Director of sjDANCEco. MARIA BASILE, announced that sjDANCEco will keep our audience engaged 24/7 (all day, every day) with "Re-Envisioned" 2020-21 a program of monthly highlights of their past performances, some of which have never been seen in the Bay Area, on their website.  Plans are also to include some glimpses of their new works in their beginning stages.

Upcoming programming will include works by sjDANCEco Artistic Director BASILE, by Company Dancer/choreographer HSIANG HSIU LIN, by Choreographic Advisor/Choreographer FRED MATHEWS, and the company Premiere of "The Winged" one of JOSÉ LIMÓN's  most abstract modern dance masterworks for a large cast of dancers. The work is a mixture of mythological characters and humans wanting to take wings.

sjDANCEco is a year-round contemporary dance company based in San José California that produces world premieres by its core and guest choreographers, and presents the very best of Contemporary and Classic Modern Dance and Masterpieces of the American Modern Dance Repertory, in addition to a full season of dance concerts. And sjDANCEco is also a major participant each Spring in FREE outdoor dance presentations during NATIONAL DANCE WEEK, and International dance festivals, and has a full schedule of contemporary dance classes for the advanced and professional dancer.
